Wow, that's sad.
I couldn't find a single point to agree with throughout viewing all six Youtube videos twice.
Hmm....
Let's see. The guy who lost his kids didn't lose them, but was basically ostracised by the community for being gay.
So what? He has every right in court to go ahead and see his kids, and go ahead to the English court and file for custody on the fact that his wife cannot care for them.
There's no need to be so confrontational with the imam. Heck, he basically said it's a common issue, not even mentioning his orientation until he continually pressed the imam on it being the sole reason.
Heck, even the rather liberal mufti of Perlis would have went whacko on the guy.
As for coming out and being dragged back into the closet to please mom, well I'm sorry but I don't agree with that either.
I honestly couldn't relate to any of the stories mentioned, and I'm an out gay Malay Muslim living in Malaysia.
I think there's a cultural barrier here or something.
